Directly from Chile, this is a delicious mix of ground beef and caramelized onions wrapped in our handmade crispy dough. Golden raisins and hard boil egg are good companions in the filling for a Traditional Pino empanada. After baking it, a juicy bite makes your night (or day ;) ).
Dough: Wheat Flour, Butter, Salt, sugar, Annatto seed.
Filling: Maine Ground Beef,Caramelized Onions, Golden Raising, Egg, Seasoning (Salt, Pepper). Hot level: Mild.
Contains dairy in the dough. Processed in a facility that handles tree nuts.
The empanadas taste better baked, but you can totally fry them too. There is no need to thaw the frozen empanadas.
Baked: Coat pan with cooking oil evenly, set frozen empanadas on the pan and place in a preheated oven at 400 ºF for 10-15 minutes.
Fried: Place frozen empanadas one by one in a preheated deep fryer at 350 ºF. Remove empanadas after 5-7 minutes. Enjoy!
Optional: Air fryer baking: Set frozen empanadas in the air fryer at 400 ºF for 10-15 minutes.
